Responsibilities:

- System Administration: Oversee and maintain servers, storage, and network equipment, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support, troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues, and resolve them efficiently.

- Network Management: Manage LAN, WAN, VPNs, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and implement necessary improvements.

- Security Management: Implement robust security measures including firewall configurations, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems. Ensure compliance with security policies.

- Backup and Recovery: Administer backup solutions and disaster recovery plans. Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.

- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and issue resolutions. Prepare performance reports.

- Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors for procurement, maintenance, and support services. Recommend new technologies when needed.

- Project Involvement: Participate in IT projects, aligning with business objectives and timelines.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support, with expertise in server administration, network management, and technical support.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, virtualisation (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), networking protocols, and cloud services like AWS or Azure.

- Certifications: Preferred certifications include CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Cisco CCNA.

- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
